over 3,300 lfd tests completed as testing centre draws to a close

Over 3,300 LFD tests completed as testing centre draws to a close.

Today we bring to a close our LFD testing centre after 2 weeks in operation testing students and staff using lateral flow devices.

We’d like to thank our fantastic team of volunteers from the local community as well as colleagues who have given their time away from their usual roles. Not all are pictured here, but each volunteer is valued for their contribution.

Over 3,300 tests have been completed, in an effort to keep our whole school community safe and well.

Mrs Kirk, our LFD test centre Team Leader, states 'I never thought there would be a time whereby we would be using our Sports Hall as a testing centre! The team of staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly and given so many hours to the testing centre, helping our students with LFD testing, which has meant that they could return to the classroom to carry on with their learning. I’m truly grateful for the kind-hearted members of our community, both staff and volunteers, who have put in so much hard work'.

Students with consent now move to home testing. Further guidance has been sent via ParentMail and you can also find this here on our website at https://bit.ly/3s27YKZ
