Staff and students today remembered the sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth. We took two minutes silence in tribute to the special contribution of families and of the emergency services. We acknowledged innocent civilians who have lost their lives in conflict and acts of terrorism.

Students are celebrating this morning as they secure places at Hucknall Sixth Form Centre, local colleges and apprenticeships. Year 11 students collecting their results today have been awarded grades which have been a combination of centre assessed grades and examination board moderation.
