he National Sixth Form Centre is the home of post-16 education located at The National Church of England Academy and welcomes students from all over Nottinghamshire.
Our new, dedicated post-16 facilities include well-equipped classrooms, independent study areas, breakout spaces and a café for students to study and socialise with friends. With a diverse range of courses available, there is something to interest, engage and suit all requirements.
We know each of our students individually and help them to maximise their small group teaching.
We are here to help you grow, to become the best possible version of your future self and to be successful in your chosen career. Together with your qualifications we offer a broad range of enrichment at NSFC; your learning will go beyond your academic qualifications and prepare you for success in the wide and ever-changing world beyond sixth form.

Head Student Welcome
Welcome to National Church of England Academy.
We are the Head Students for 2026-2027: Riella, Eloise and Kyra. Our responsibilities within this role collectively are to uphold the ARCH values of aspiration, respect, compassion, humility, wisdom and service, parallel with the Academy’s vision of “life in all its fullness” (John 10:10). We will consistently aim to give every student a voice, celebrate what makes us unique, support each other and work together to make our school community more grounded and welcoming for everyone.
We each decided to apply for this role because we all felt as if we could all make a positive and enlightening change to our school community. Recognising our individual skills and values, but more importantly, the shared values and collective strengths that unite us in our ambition to drive meaningful change.
This year, as Head Students, we will play an active role in Open Days, welcoming Year 7 and Year 11 students and giving them the opportunity to learn more about what the National and Sixth Form have to offer. Alongside this, we will bring forward our own goals, ideas and perspectives through meetings and assemblies, ensuring that student voices are consistently heard and valued. We will also support younger students throughout the school year by acting as approachable and positive role models, helping them to feel welcomed, included and confident within all aspects of the school community, enhancing a positive and supportive school environment.
